Redeemer Christian Church exists to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ with our words and display the gospel of Jesus Christ with our lives to our neighbors and to the nations.

Redeemer Christian Church was replanted from West Amarillo Christian Church in 2011 with a desire to see our city and region reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We began with a high commitment to Scripture because we know that the Gospel is the good news of God’s salvation to all people (Romans 1:16) and that Scripture is applicable to our whole lives (2 Timothy 3:16).

Because of the importance of God’s Word to us, we want to be a people who know our Bibles and can make disciples who make disciples of Jesus, teaching them to obey all that he has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-19). We believe that faithfully declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ with our words and then living lives that display the gospel of Jesus Christ is the best way to make disciples in our neighborhoods and nations.

Since we launched, we’ve seen Gospel Communities launched where lives have been changed as people were exposed to the love of Christ in the course of their lives. We’ve seen God bring many children and youth-aged students to faith in Christ as we partner with parents to help them teach the Bible to their children. We’ve seen relationships built with refugees that have led to Bible studies among people who have been displaced from their homes. And, with a diverse, global family of church-planting churches in the Redeemer Network, we’ve been able to be a part of a church-planting movement that has launched or replanted churches in West Texas and beyond.

Now it’s your turn to declare and display the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Get involved in a Gospel Community or sign up to volunteer. You can learn more about our theology and get into the membership pipeline.
