At Redeemer Christian Church we long glorify Jesus Christ, in the context of community and relationships, to see cultures transformed. Mission Taiwan is a unique organization that shares Redeemer’s vision for mission as they provide opportunities for the people of Taichung, Taiwan to encounter Jesus through relationships with his disciples, in hopes of seeing the island of Taiwan transformed.

Redeemer partners with Mission Taiwan, and Taichung Baptist Church by putting on a summer English camp for College and High School Students to practice conversational English with Americans. In Taiwan, being able to speak English is a very valuable skill, so this camp is a huge blessing to the students who attend. This year Mission Taiwan hopes that the camp will have around 100 students from 5 different universities and a few high schools. During this camp, we get to travel throughout Taiwan with the students as we surf, white water raft and trace rivers together, all while building deep meaningful relationships with our new friends as we share our lives with one another and guide them towards a local church in Taichung.
